Born into a family of photographers, Sambit Chatterjee spent most of his time with his head covered, peering through the ground glass finder of a technical camera. This early exposure offered him a profound escape into another world, shaping his perspective from a young age. This is what allows him to be comfortable shooting across a range of genres. Painting is the core inspiration for his photography. His precise attention to detail and exquisite control of light renders life to lifeless objects.
Having decided on his career path as a professional photographer from a very young age, Sambit acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Symbiosis School of Photography. This led him to tap into the commercial market; while executing work on time for elite clients and receiving excellent feedback boosted Sambit to continue to devote his creativity to perfection in every shot and delivering effective images.
